Threshold convergence results for a nonlocal time-delayed diffusion equation

摘要:This talk is about the asymptotic behavior for nonlocal dispersion Nicholson blowflies equation. We obtain the threshold results with optimal convergence rates for the original solution to the constant equilibrium. This is a joint work with Prof. M. Mei and Dr. Z. Wang.

报告人简介:黄锐,华南师范大学数学科学学院教授,博士生导师,研究生院副院长,“广东特支计划”省级人才,重庆市“巴渝学者”讲座教授。主要从事非线性扩散方程的研究工作,先后主持国家自然科学基金面上项目和省部级科研项目十余项,在Journal of Nonlinear Science, JDE, Nonlinearity, Discrete Contin. Dyn. Syst.等高水平杂志上发表论文几十篇。

 

Bistable pulsating wave of a competition model in rapidly varying media and its homogenization limit

    摘要:In this talk, we will discuss the existence of bistable pulsating wave for a two-species competition system in rapidly periodically varying media and its homogenization limit as the spatial period tends to zero. Assuming that the homogenized system admits a bistable traveling wave, we first show the existence of pulsating wave for all small periods and determine the homogenization limit of the wave speed. Furthermore, in the case where the homogeneous wave is not stationary, we investigate the effects of spatial heterogeneity on the wave speeds. This is based on a joint work with Drs. Weiwei Ding and Rui Huang.

报告人简介:华南师范大学副教授,2016年博士毕业于加拿大纽芬兰纪念大学,先后在美国迈阿密大学、加拿大瑞尔森大学和约克大学从事博士后研究。主要从事扩散系统的传播动力学研究,相关成果在JMPA、JFA、JDE、中国科学(英文)等杂志发表,主持国家自然科学基金两项。
