报告人简介:祝志川,博士、教授、博士生导师。东北师范大学统计学博士后,入选沈阳市高层次人才拔尖人才。现任全国工业统计学教学研究会常务理事、中国现场统计研究会理事,中国现场统计硏宄会资源与环境统计分会副秘书长,美国 《Mathematical Reviews》评论员。主要从事高维数据分析、机器学习与统计计算、经济统计与计量建模等方面的研究,主持国家自然科学基金、中国博士后科学基金面上项目、辽宁省自然科学基金面上项目等科研项目17项,在国内外SSCI、SCI、CSSCI等重要期刊发表论文50余篇,指导学生获得全国应用统计专业研究生案例大赛国家一等奖、全国大学生统计建模竞赛国家二等奖等竞赛奖20余项。

报告摘要:To reduce carbon emissions for sustainable development, we analyzed the impactof China’s digital economy development on carbon emissions. Based on the panel data of278 Cities in Chinafrom 2011to 2019, we measured the level of development of China’s digital economyusing the entropy method. The relationship between the digital economy and carbon emissions wasanalyzed from multiple perspectives with the help of the fixed-effects model, the mediated-effectsmodel and the spatial econometric model. The results indicate that the digital economy plays asignificant inhibitory role in carbon emissions. In addition, the digital economy inhibits carbonemissions through the innovation effect and the industrial structure upgrading effect. Moreover,the digital economy exhibits a significant spatial spillover effect in dampening carbon emissions.Finally, there is regional heterogeneity in the direct and spatial spillover effect. The findings provide abasis for the digital economy to contribute to carbon emissions reduction and provide relevant policyreferences for achieving carbon neutrality and sustainable development.
